Disney's Rock Band

Disney announce a new game for the Wii called Ultimate Band!. So for all you Wii owners who have been waiting for Rock Band here's your "generic" version. Disney Interactive has confirmed the opportunity to rock out on guitar, bass, drums or as the front man. BUT the game's front man/woman doesn't sing as much as pump up the crowd with dances, waves, and more. So I'm thinking that there will be a lot of shaking of the mic and/or wiimote. But none the less I'm interested in seeing how this turns out. It comes out during the 2008 holiday season for the DS and the Wii.

Microsoft Pulls The Plug On HD DVD Players

I just found this on yahoo today:

Microsoft Corp. said it will stop making HD DVD players for its Xbox 360 video game system after Toshiba Corp. ceded the high-definition video format battle to Sony Corp.'s Blu-ray. Microsoft said that they will still provide standard warranty report for all HD DVD players. And they should cause its estimated that about 300,000 people own this device. This seems bad for HD DVD Microsoft was one of there biggest backers. But I guess that Microsoft sucamed to peer pressure.
